The Band of Warriors Music and Art Fest

This Festival will be starting off with A Tribe United Art Show at the Gallup Performing Arts Center (GPAC) located within the Trade Mart Square.
The (GPAC) art gallery will be presenting  many wonderful artist and their work. Local artists, craftsman, and writers will be showcasing their talents. The gallery exhibit will last from noon to five. The commity for A Tribe United welcome all craftsman to attendand joinus in supporting all our native brothers and sisters with disabilities who would like to show their crafts to the People of Gallup..

We would like these talented individuals to join us during this festival. The gallery spotlight will be on these wonderful people and their crafts.

Booths will be available for a small fee. The money made during this event will be donated to several local charities, they need our support, so come on out on May 10 and join us for a good cause. For more info call Jermaine Lee at 505-863-8093 or 505-713-6968


The United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, Seventh Session will take place *21st of April 2008* thru *2nd of May 2008* at UN Headquarters, New York.

The Longest Walk 2 has been invited to attend this historic event. The Walk delegates wish to attend on April 22, 2008, Earth Day. The forum will empower the Walk delegates to inform the other Conference attendees about The Walk, The Walks Mission, provide The Walk Manifesto to the U.N, which states who we are as care takers of the America's, Articles detailing outstanding issues facing our Indigenous people, as a result of United States legislation passed into bills & laws and Articles from the Tribes and Nations who have met with the walkers on this historic, 5 month journey to D.C.
