Gallup Folk Music Festival
A celebration of the roots of traditional americana in New MexicoFriday the 16th - Subtle Groove at Sammy C's
• Rusty Strings Underground Garage Band at Sammy C's on Coal Street. Jug band style country blues & some original songs, with resonator guitars, mandolin, banjo, harmonica, jug, washtub bass--our first time playing at Sammy C's should be a lot of fun.
• Pat & Mike at Coal Street Pub. Guitar duo with Pat also playing banjo, piano, marimbas, perhaps (?). Eclectic repertoire runs from country music to rock & roll, folk songs, swing, and original songs.
• Both shows start at 7:00 pm, and are only two blocks away so you can enjoy a little in both places. Come out & enjoy an evening on the town before summer sets in....
