Gallup Farmers' Market

22 January 2008

-Hello, all!

Happy New Year! I know we're all longing for greener
days and guess what? It's time to start thinking about
the 2008 market.

If anybody is interested and able to take a road trip,
the annual market managers' meeting will be held in
Santa Fe on February 1 & 2 (Friday and Saturday):
"This conference is a great opportunity for farmers’
market managers, staff and volunteers to share ideas
and challenges, improve skills, celebrate their
successes, and plan for the 2008 market season."

Friday's schedule is 9:30 to 5:30; Saturday will wrap
up by 2:30 or so.

Let me know ASAP if you think you might want to
attend.

ALSO it would be great to have a get-together in
February or early March so we can reconnect for 2008,
talk about where we've been and where we'd like to go
(besides Jamaica - brrrr!) and also talk about the
possibility of a plant and seed sale.

Let me know what you think, what days/times might work
for you and where you think we could get together. I
will be out of town February 11th through 19th so need
to work around that.

I hope this finds you all well and WARM. Here's to a
successful season in 2008!

CaroleIf you have any questions, please e-mail or call
928-871-4871.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing or talking with
you soon!

PS - I will try to call folks as well since not
